The energizing blanket OLM-01 is aimed at treatment and prevention of troubles in functional systems of the human body. The blanket consists of shielding layers. Each layer is made of synthetic metallized film, thickness is 1 micron. The shielding layer on the patient's side is intended for reflection of electromagnetic radiation in infrared and extremely high-frequency ranges.

Indications and contra-indications.
The energizing blanket OLM-01 may be used in combined therapy of a wide range of diseases, as well as additional method for psycho-emotional regulation, sleep improvement, better resistance to stressful influences, muscular pressure disease and for reduction in doses of drugs.
The blanket is contra-indicated in patients with:
• Acute infectious diseases and feverish conditions with unclear diagnosis;
• Active forms of tuberculosis;
• Sharp heart attack myocardium;
• Cardiac and cardiopulmonary insufficiency.
Instructions for usage and general recommendations.
Patients clothes and underwear should contain the least possible synthetic components.
Individual sheets or blanket covers should be used in medical institutions.
To get the desired effect, cover the patient with his head, up to the neck, or lumbosacral area and legs. The best results is reached when one is completely covered with the blanket.
In general it is recommended to carry out this procedure one hour before going to sleep or just at bedtime. The treatment should take place while sitting or lying in comfortable, relaxed position. It is desirable to stay awake in order to watch over time or use an alarmclock.
One procedure takes around 40 minutes. The person covered with the blanket usually experiences the feelings of heat and pricking which does not pass into discomfort. In rare cases, adverse reactions such as pain, headache, dizziness or nausea may occur. In this case the course must not be interrupted and should be continued until disappearance or diminishing of discomfort, even if the procedure will be extended up to 50 minutes.
If you don't manage to diminish the discomfort, the time of one procedure should be reduced up to 10 minutes. The duration of each following procedure is to be extended every time from three to four minutes, coming to 30-40 minutes. The patient may be covered completely or locally (only some part of the body). Just apply the energizing blanket on the concerned part of the body or above (on the back, neck, shoulders, etc.)
Sterilization.
The blanket can be sterilized by air method at temperature 120 degrees C in the sterilizer, which takes about 45 minutes. The application of the blanket may be resumed 30 minutes after sterilization. |
